Here’s some information about (and typed by) Meredith Gran, an American cartoonist, animator and game developer. I’m from Long Island, New York and currently reside in Philadelphia with my husband Mike Holmes and our son, Oscar.
I’ve created and posted many things on the internet since the 90s, most of which have been washed away by time. But some things are worth keeping. I’m best known for the webcomic Octopus Pie, a humor/romance slice-of-life story set in Brooklyn, which I drew from 2007-2017, and have occasionally revisited since then.
Beyond comics, I have mainly focused on developing video games. I released my first game Perfect Tides, part teen memoir, part throwback to the 90s heyday of Sierra adventures, in 2022. A sequel, Perfect Tides: Station to Station, is currently in development.
In my spare time I like to grow vegetables in my garden. I eat a vegan diet and lift weights.
